SIALKOT, April 12: PML-Q chief Shujaat Husain has urged the political parties to end “blame game” and shun their differences to fight internal and external threats to the country.

Speaking at a press conference at the residence of former provincial minister Muhammad Ajmal Cheema here on Tuesday, he claimed that the PML-Q had strong political hold in the country.

It’s the demand of the day, he said, that all the politicians set aside their differences.

PML-Q Secretary-General Mushahid Hussain Syed said it was the biggest political party of the country, which enjoyed equal popularity in all the provinces. He said re-organisation of the PML-Q had been completed and it would now show its political strength by holding a massive political meeting in Larkana on May 8.

Meanwhile, Chaudhry Shujaat visited the residence of MNA Khwaja Muhammad Asif and condoled the death of his mother. Mushahid Hussain, Faisal Saleh Hayat and Riaz Peerzada accompanied the party chief.

Shujaat said he had family relations with Khwaja Asif and political ups and downs could not weaken this relationship.

Hamid Nasir Chatta also offered condolences to Khwaja Asif during a visit to the latter’s place.
