Light rain, dust storm hit Sukkur

SUKKUR, April 14: Dust storm accompanied by light rain struck Sukkur and its adjoining areas on Thursday night, heralding the end of spring.

Light rain was also reported from Ghotki and adjoining areas and cloudy weather in Mirpur Mathelo, Pano Akil, Daharki, Kashmore, Thull, Kandhkot and other towns.

The power went out with the start of rain.

No official of the Sukkur Electric Power Company was ready to comment on the outage. —Correspondent
