Day after day we hear about how anthropogenic development is causing global warming. Rapidly rising concentration of CO2 in the environment mean that the rate of ocean acidification is the fastest since the age of dinosaurs, which became extinct 65million years ago scientists, believe. The increased acidity of water affects the amount of dissolved carbonate minerals that are available for marine organisms to use in forming their shells and hard skeleton. Deforestation: the hidden cause of global warming. Stopping the loggers is the fastest and cheapest solution to the climate change. So, why our global leaders turning a blind eye to this crisis. Generally speaking, carbon emissions from deforestation far out stripe the damage caused by the planes, auto-mobiles and factories. So, what measures should we adopt to cope with burning issue on war-footing manner. Always use highly energy efficient electrical appliances at home, factories, big stores and companies. Turn off all switches, when leaving home or if not needed. We should believe on recycling to reduce carbon emissions. Always use public transport or go by cycle or walk for short distance travels, which is also good for health. This is our prime duty to educate people about colossal negative effects of logging and facilitate or support them for planting trees. Government should provide subsidy and promote those companies who're generating powers through renewable resources like wind turbines, hydro-power, solar energy, bio-fuel, biomass and geothermal power. Honestly speaking, all pillars of state and our society must act collectively, honestly and with full accountability to tackle this problem. Finally, as usual I'd say hope for the best because our politicians always exhort, promise and urge for the best but prepare for the worst.

Lets start from Ourselves First! How many of us have personally planted a Tree? If there's a tree for every One person in Karachi, the air pollution would be dealt with to such a great extent!

i think government is doing no effort to save earth from global warming. All the efforts are just restricted to papers or arranging seminars but no practical work.and how government can do real work in this case because people in government are uneducated , having no moral values. So we should not expect such serious efforts from them . We have to raise ourselves and just try our level best to save earth.
