April 22 marks the World Earth day – an annual effort to raise public awareness about the environment and inspire actions to clean it up. First celebrated in 1970, the world celebrates this day in a response to growing pollution and extreme weathers. Here is a glimpse at the campaigns and demonstrations taking place all around the world in support of the World Earth Day, as well as images of our polluted Mother Earth.
