Renowned comedic actor of television, theatre and film, Moin Akhtar is no more. He had been suffering from heart ailment since several years.

Moin Akhtar also served showbiz in Pakistan as a film director, singer, writer and anchor. After working in television plays and theatre, he was a part of a very popular team that comprised of Anwar Maqsood, Behroz Sabzwari and Bushra Ansari.

Eid Train, Half Plate, Aangan Terha, Burns Road to Kemari, and Rosy were his plays of finest performance, while Yes Sir, No Sir was his popular TV show.

The government of Pakistan awarded him a Pride of Performance and Sitar-e-Imtiaz for his services in performing arts. – Photos by White Star.
