ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani on Wednesday said that all state institutions, including the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI), were operating constitutionally and legally, DawnNews reported.

Speaking at a ceremony, he further said that the ISI's operations had full support of the government.

Prime Minister Gilani’s comments came in the wake of the publishing of leaked official documents showing that the US administration had placed the ISI on a list of terrorist outfits.

Prime Minister Gilani said there would be no compromise on the country's security and sovereignty and that Pakistan's nuclear program was secure.

Moreover, he said that the nation was united against terrorism and that those conspiring against democracy would have to "wait longer".
