KARACHI, May 3: Mohammad Ibrahim struck an unbeaten 94 to help Rawalpindi Royals qualify for the final of the 13th National Seniors Cricket Cup with a six-wicket win over Lahore Whites at the LCCA Ground in Lahore on Monday.

Lahore Whites, the northern zone champions, made 209-9 in the allotted 30 overs with Babar Zaman (65), Raza Khan (49) and Ghaffar Kazmi (22) the leading run-getters. Former Pakistan captain Salim Malik scored only 14.

Naseer Ahmed (3-32) and Mohammad Aamir (2-35) took the bowling honours.

Rawalpindi Royals lost four wickets in reaching their target of 210 in 27.2 overs. Ibrahim, the Man-of-the-Match, led the way by striking eight fours and three sixes in his 67-ball innings. He received good support from Shahid Hameed (37) and Mohammad Shahab (36).

The Royals will now play Karachi Greens in the final at the NBP Sports Complex here on May 8.
