Hafiz Saeed, center, the leader of religious group Jamaat-ud-Dawa, and wanted by the Indian government on different counts including the Mumbai attacks, joins hands with other leaders at a rally to condemn the United States for the killing of al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden. Saeed called bin Laden a martyr and demanded the Pakistani government to break ties with the United States.

Sunday was just another day for many Pakistanis who struggled to carry on, completely unaware of what was going on in the world. While these ordinary men, women and children were immersed in the daily melancholy and occasional smiles of their own lives, there were others who thought it was all about the timing. – Photos by agencies
