LAHORE, May 20: Jansher Khan, former world champion and adviser to the Pakistan Squash Federation’s president, has said the federation will introduce league to attract international players, who are reluctant to visit Pakistan due to security concerns.
Talking to reporters at the Punjab Squash Complex, Jansher said Pakistan’s league would attract international players since it is played on individual basis.
Jansher said the players from England, Egypt and France could come to Pakistan to participate in the league.
The Punjab Squash Association in collaboration with the national squash federation had organised an international tournament, which final is going to be held on Saturday, but no foreign player sent the entries due to security concerns.
Jansher said he had no differences with Aamir Atlas Khan but he warned that every player should maintain discipline and there would be no compromise on it. He said the federation would sponsor three youngsters soon to play in international circuit and to improve their skill and game.
