Grass courts tennis

LAHORE, Oct 24: All-Pakistan National Grass Courts Championship with a total cash prize of Rs 170,000 will be held at the Punjab Tennis Association courts, in Bagh-i-Jinnah from Oct 28 to Nov 3.

Punjab Tennis Association (PTA) secretary Bashir Gill disclosing details of the tournament said that 150 entries had been received.

Draws ceremony will be held on Oct 26. Competitions for Boys Under-18 and U-14 singles and veterans will also be held.

He said that PTA will also organise the National Junior Cup at the same venue from Dec 9 to 12. A ranking tournament will be organised in Sargodha in the second week of February next. The Governor’s Cup at Faisalabad and Sahiwal Open in Sahiwal will be held in March, he said.
