ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League - Quaid (PML-Q) MNA Marvi Memon on Wednesday resigned from the parliament as well as from her membership of the PML-Q, DawnNews reported.

Ms Memon said the government was working against the interests of the Pakistani people and for that reason it was not possible for her to remain in the party.

The PML-Q joined the federal cabinet in May.
