KARACHI, June 24: Karachi beat Mirpukhas 4-1 in the final to take the NBP Sindh Inter-region Under-16 Hockey Championship title at the Hockey Club of Pakistan here on Friday.
The goals for the winners were scored by Abrar Ahmed (eighth min), Shajeel (13th min), Mohmmad Ali (40th min) and Mohammad Arif (52nd min). Mohammad Safdar scored the lone goal for Mirpurkhas in the 20th min.
SEVP NBP Mohammad Hasan Khaskheli, the chief guest on the occasion, gave away the trophies and prizes.
Karachi’s centre-forward Abdullah was declared the Man of the Tournament while Larkana’s right-in Jahanzeb was named Best Player.
