KARACHI, June 29: Irfan Memorial Landhi beat North Brothers Central 2-1 as Aga Khan Gymkhana got ahead of hosts FC Rovers 4-2 on penalty kicks after a 1-1 draw in the All-Karachi Engro Vopak Cup Invitation Football Tournament at the Baloch Mujahid Stadium here on Tuesday.

In the first match, Irfan Memorial Landhi were 2-0 in the first half thanks to two goals by their striker Abdullah in the 19th and 22nd minutes. Tahir Shah reduced the margin for North Brothers in the 47th minute.

In the other match, FC Rovers drew first blood in the seventh minute through Sikander Butt but Aga Khan Gymkhana’s Arif Hussain restored parity in the 23rd minute. Later, they excelled in the penalty kicks round to win the match 4-2.
