Given its capacity and load capability, it is interesting to note that a Kekra only cost 1 million Pak Ruppees, where as a standard 5 seater car probably costs more than a million.

Good idea! Unfortunately bad scripting and incorrect technical information:
1) It is Bedford engine (A subsidiary of Vauxhall/GM) - not Bradford.
In my opinion it is important to always look for perfect information as any presentation here or at any other medium is taken as a reference for Pakistan and any thing related to its history, culture etc.

It is wonderful, ten years before when there was no roads around the thar, it was th main and only source of transportation, now the situation is changed and these kekras are rare...I myself have travelled in it a number of times
