LAHORE, July 6: A four-member committee has started an inquiry into development works in Murree with the mandate to fix the responsibility and recommend action against those found guilty in 10 days. The team is headed by Prosecution Secretary Mr Amlesh with Law Department Director Mohsin Syed, Sargodha DCO and S&GAD inquiries member as its members.

The committee, formed by Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif last week, would look into violations of building bylaws, faults in two new public parks (Gunj Shaheedan and PIA), corruption and dereliction of duty in the upgradation of Patriata chairlift and causes of delay in establishment of a student resource centre and electronic library in Murree.
