KARACHI, July 22: District Football Association (DFA) Karachi East has banned Burma Mohammadan Football Club along suspending its 18 players for three months.

Burma Mohammadan was already in hot waters after featuring in some unrecognised football tournaments without the prior permission of their district association. But even after accepting their mistake and handing in a written apology, they have once again gone ahead and participated in another tournament instead of sitting out events during their suspension period.

As a result, DFA Karachi East have banned the club while suspending their players, namely, Abdul Ghani, Syed Alam, Idrees, Saeed ul Rehman, Jafar, Raees, Ishaq, Noor Alam, Saifullah, goalkeeper Yousuf, Mohammad Aslam, Abu Fayaz, Ayub, Pervaiz Akhtar, Yousuf Sr, Abdul Raheem, Naseem and Mohammad Imran from all kinds of football activity for three months.

The players, after serving the three-month suspension, can get themselves registered in any other club to resume playing football.
