QUETTA: Three personnel of the Balochistan Constabulary and a schoolteacher were gunned down in Quetta and bullet-riddled bodies of two labourers were found in Turbat on Wednesday.

According to police, constables Sher Ali, Murad Ali and Nadeem were injured when men on two motorcycles opened fire at a checkpoint in Killi Kabir, near Shahbaz Town, late in the night.

They were taken to the Civil Hospital, but died of injuries. They belonged to Bela district.

Schoolteacher Karim Bakhsh was shot dead on Sariab Road when he was going home. Police said he had been killed over enmity.

In Turbat, the bullet-riddled bodies of two labourers working on an under-construction building in Dashti Bazaar were found from a desolate place. The bodies of Ghulam Mohammad and Ghulam Yasin were sent to Kandhkot after legal formalities.
