ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League-N chief Nawaz Sharif went to the Rawalpindi home of Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, the Leader of Opposition in the National Assembly, on Thursday and succeeded in pacifying the apparently estranged party colleague.

The one-to-one meeting, lasting nearly two hours, came four days after Chaudhry Nisar returned from a six-week stay in Britain which had aroused speculation about his differences with the party leadership over alleged business contacts with a property tycoon opposing him.
