One shot dead

ATTOCK, Aug 12: A private guard shot dead the owner of a weapon repair shop and injured his two sons over a petty dispute in Hazro, police said on Friday.

Mujeebur Rehman along with his two sons was busy at his shop on Thursday evening when a security guard Zaryab Khan allegedly attacked them and fled.

Mujeeb died on the spot while his sons Mehboobur Rehman and Mohammad Riaz were injured.

The police handed over Mujeeb’s body to the relatives after postmortem.

The sources said the accused had repaired his pistol from the deceased some days back and a dispute had erupted between them over the repair charges which led to the tragic incident.—Correspondent
