KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Chief, Altaf Hussain is suffering from an illness in London, DawnNews reported.
The nature of the illness was not specified.
Rabita committee has told the MQM workers to maintain unity and not pay heed to any rumours.
According to the statement given by MQM Rabita committee, Altaf Hussain has been ill since the past one week and is also currently hospitalised.
Due to prayers of senior citizens, children, MQM party workers and the public of Pakistan, Altaf Hussain is recovering, stated Rabita committee.
Party workers were requested to pray for his recovery and long life.
The Rabita committee thanked President Asif Ali Zardari, Interior Minister Rehman Malik and other officials for inquiring about Altaf Hussain’s health and sending him a bouquet of flowers.
