Accord to install ATMs

ISLAMABAD, Sept 9: Responding to the growing demand of its account-holders and the general ATM holders, the National Bank of Pakistan has decided to increase the number of its ATMs to 500 across the country.

The NBP on Friday signed a contract with NCR Corporation to install 150 ATMs in its branches all over the country.

With a view to implement its Centralised Core Banking, Branch Connectivity to bring 1,100 branches On-Line as well Contact Centre, the NBP has embarked upon a technology up-gradation and modernisation, which will provide its customers modern banking services along with expansion of ATMs.

NCR was selected as the trusted vendor for providing these 150 ATMs which includes lobby style as well as through the wall ATMs.

NCR ATMs are designed with state-of-art technology and are fully compliant to the latest international security requirements.

NCR will be providing these ATMs from its latest NCR SelfServ series, which offers the highest quality, most fulfilling self-service customer experience.
