SWABI, Sept 12: The Awami National Party leadership has successfully settled things between two groups of the party in Swabi, party sources say.

The two groups were led by Haji Rehmanullah and Jehanzeb Khan.

Along with a 50-strong jirga, Rehmanullah visited the house of Khan for the patch-up.

Salim Khan, former provincial general secretary of ANP, said he and other party leaders had been directed by the leadership for the patch-up between the two groups.

He praised Rehmatullah and Khan for burying the hatchet to strengthen party in the district.
