Dengue reaches Hyderabad from Lahore

HYDERABAD, Sept 19: A man with dengue symptoms has been admitted to Civil Hospital here on Monday.

Focal person of the hospital, Dr Aftab Arain, told Dawn that Saeed Ahmed, a resident of Khata Chowk, had recently returned from Lahore and carried the dengue virus.He reported at the hospital after high fever and joint pain. His blood tests revealed that he was having dengue and was accordingly admitted to the hospital.
