MINGORA: Three killed in accidents

MINGORA, Nov 11: At least three people were killed and 12 others injured in road accidents in Swat on Monday.

A non-custom-paid van went out of control near Dakorak on the Mingora-Kalam Road and ran over some pedestrians, killing two persons, Habibullah and Wali Mohammad, residents of Dakorak, and critically injuring two others who were sent to hospital. 

The police have impounded the vehicle and arrested the driver.

In another accident, a car (AA 6365) hit a group of people near the College Square in Matta which resulted in the death of one Shafiullah, resident of Sambat, while injuring several others, including Hakeem Khan, Salahuddin, Tufail, Zubeda, Fazal Rahim, Sarhad Bacha, Fayaz Ali and Asghar Khan.
