LAHORE, Oct 8: Capital City Police Officer Malik Ahmad Raza Tahir has suspended from service a traffic warden for rude and discourteous behaviour with a professor. Warden Shabbir Ahmad is alleged to have showed discourteous attitude towards Sargodha PAF College Principal Prof Dr Zafar Mahmood Khawar and his family members at a signal.

According to a handout issued on Saturday, the CCPO directed the chief traffic officer to hold any inquiry and redress the genuine grievance of the professor.

He also directed the CTO to ensure that no such incident took place in future and all wardens must perform their duty with courtesy, decency and politeness towards the general public. — Staff Reporter
