HYDERABAD, Oct 12: Pakistan Muslim League-N activists observed a black day in several districts of Sindh on Wednesday to commemorate the 12th anniversary of the military coup against the elected PML-N government.

In Hyderabad, a demonstration was held outside the press club.

The protesters raised slogans against General (Retd) Pervez Musharraf and called for sentencing him to death.

Local PML-N leader Sultan Shaikh termed Musharraf an American agent and said he had committed treason.

PML-N activists held a protest rally in Tando Mohammad Khan. In Shikarpur, a procession was followed by a demonstration at the Lakhi Gate roundabout.

The protesters raised slogans against Musharraf and set his effigy on fire.

Jai Jai Vishno and Mir Hassan Pahore, members of PMLN's divisional organising committee, condemned the Oct 12 coup of General (retd) Musharraf against the government of Nawaz Sharif and demanded institution of a treason case against him.

In Nawabshah, PML-N activists observed a black day, took out a procession and demonstrated outside the press club.
