Watch out Libyans. Americans and west is not your friend. Look at Gaddafi he gave up every thing ... billions in compensation, nuclear program etc. Yet they came to stab him in the back. Small uprising was turned into a battle by NATO bombings.

Indeed a good day for emancipation from a corrupt and tyrannical regime.
How long to see something similar done to the kleptocracy that is ruling Pakistan. Here it will not be just one person who needs to go but tens of thousands. That is the only way this country will progress.

HM, there is some truth in what you are saying. The West in general and US in particular have only their own interests at heart. Why shouldn't they ?
But when Gaddafi started murdering Libyans where were the Muslim or Arab countries against this tyranny ? Does it have to be always the West that says or does something ? There was not a peep against Gaddafi at the start of uprising from Islamic countries. Syria is a similar case although Saudi Arabia has issued a statement.
Gaddafi should have left himself once uprising began but he was too vain and narcissistic to realize that game was up. In other words, he lost it. Look at his clothing and demeanor in last so many years. Is that the actions of a sane person ? Like I said, he should have left like Ben Ali of Tunisia or Mubarak of Egypt.
These megalomaniacs are corrupt and destroying the countries they rule. Don't give the drivel about standard of living etc. One basic right for every human is freedom. It is freedom of speech, freedom of thought, freedom of religion etc. We should all learn to love and respect it.
Through out history, great nations are those that have undergone massive social and political upheaval. Perhaps it is Pakistan's time to overthrow the kleptocracy and do a "Ghaddafi" with them.

Its always a biggest to loss to Arab World one by one like Iraq, Libya, Yemen, Afghanistan, Pakistan and who is next, check the menu of west. We, the foolish muslims are destrying ourselves with our own hands, loosing our economy, petrol, gold, libraries and preciious lives in the hands of cunning and dacoit west.

It was not a people's revolution but it was NATO force's revolution. Without wetern power forces the present change was not possible. The condition is worse but no change seems in Syria nor in Bahrain. Why.. ? The changes in Bahrain and Syria does not suite the super powers.
