"Karachi-the musical", a classic tale of the human spirit persevering against all odds, is produced and directed by dancer and choreographer Nida Butt with musical score provided by Hamza Jafri. Set against the backdrop of violence-ridden Lyari, the musical is a first in bringing together an Urdu script with a Broadway feel. The songs are considered contemporary and revolve around the boxing ring which is the highlight of the show.
