NAWABSHAH, Oct 29: Unidentified miscreants removed flags and banners of the Pakistan Muslim League (N) and portraits of its leaders from different parts of the city on Saturday.

An emergency meeting of the local chapter of the PML-N at the party office condemned the removal of the party flags, banners and portraits and said that the party workers could not be intimidated by such acts.

They said that their rivals were afraid of the success of the party rally in Lahore on Friday, adding that people had rejected the government and its policies by participating in the rally in a large number.

The meeting was presided over by the district president of the PML-N, Syed Ghulam Mustafa Shah.
