KARACHI, Nov 1: Vice-Admiral Abbas Raza on Tuesday took over the charge of Commander Karachi (Comkar) with immediate effect. He will be the head of all the Pakistan Navy units and establishments ashore at Karachi.
Vice-Admiral Raza got commission in the Pakistan Navy in 1975 and served as deputy commandant of the Pakistan Naval Academy, commanding officer of frigate class ships, commander of the Auxiliary & Mine Warfare Squadron, principal secretary to the chief of naval staff, naval attache in France, director-general of the Joint Warfare & Training, director-general of the Joint Staff Headquarters & deputy chief of the naval staff (operations).—PPI
