LAHORE, Nov 16: An application has been filed in the Lahore High Court, asking the court to summon former foreign minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi and tell him to testify if he was pressurised to give diplomatic immunity to CIA contractor Raymond Davis.

Davis gunned down two men in Lahore earlier this year. He was arrested and later released on court orders after blood money was paid to the families of those killed.

Advocate Noshab A Khan attached his application to an already pending petition, which asked the court to decide if Davis was entitled to diplomatic immunity. He said the former minister maintained in his statement that he had refused to give diplomatic immunity to the CIA contractor because he was not an ambassador.
