That coudnt be the biggest. There was a slide show some weeks back on a book release about the churches of Pakistan. The churches featured in that book were much bigger than this.
Congratulations to All Karachiwallahs !

As a Muslim Pakistani I am pleased to see our fellow Christian Pakistanis building their churches and happily practicing their religion. Most Muslims are tolerant of other religions and would like to see the followers of all religion enjoy equal rights as equal citizens of the country. Pakistan will be stronger for that.

Thats beautiful. Another interesting architectural feature that I observed is that Mosques in the US and many other Western countries also have similar design as this Mega Church in Pakistan, with large square building, and arched windows, due to building code regulations of local municipalities and also to blend in with the rest of the Western architectural styles, which emphasis more on Square and straight features as opposed to Domes and Round features of the Eastern and Muslim cultures.

I am happy for the Christian community they have this facility, I am not Pakistani and personally I have never seen any overt persecution of Christians in Pakistan, if they are poor the majority Muslim community is in the same boat and they should work together to change the status quo. People of both religions need to eradicate both drug addiction and alcohol addiction from their communities as both contribute greatly to poverty and education is a key factor in raising both above the poverty line in years to come. Both Christians and Muslims are guilty of provocative language against each other religion(I have heard this myself from both sides) and they should learn to respect each other instead of listening to over zealous uneducated Imans and priests funded by over zealous foriegn christian churches

Just by erecting a building does not mean people have shown tolerance. Tolerance will be tested under any kind of pressure. Let us hope that this Church and Christians will then survive.

Good going Karachi! May our nation learn to care for the PEOPLE who frequent this Church building as much as we are celebrating this structure- beyond Karachi's borders, may the Church in Pakistan ie the Christian people in Pakistan, know they are celebrated and respected, protected and allowed to grow. This is fantastic and we give thanks for what this signifies of tolerance, hope and possibility. May many a Mass be read at this Church and may many a prayer for peace and goodwill be prayed for our country.

Excellent! Very happy to see this church in Pakistan. In my experience, there is a lot of love, respect for humanity and tolerance in Pakistan. Let this building - and all the other churches and temples in Pakistan - serve as a symbol of these finer human traits.

Most Pakistanis are a tolerant people. Back in 1993 I had an Iranian Bahai tell me that "Pakistan is a very tolerant country". His exact words. He told a seminar that I attended how Bahais escaped the Iranian revolution and found refuge in Pakistan and Turkey. Ofcourse, that was the Pakistan before General Zia's Islamization campaign had kicked off. Fruits of which we are seeing today.

I am so happy to read about the new church, but what is amazing is that there is Perpetual Adoration around the clock! this is what makes me so happy!! we need to have this in as many churches as possible to continously prayer for peace. God is truly present in the Blessed Sacrament.
