LAHORE: Pakistan’s national champion Ushna Suhail with her Indian partner Ashmitha Kaswaramurthi entered the semi-final of the International Tennis Tournament Women Circuit in Djibouti, Africa.

The Indo-Pak pair defeated third-seeded pair from the USA and Egypt, Alexandra Riley and Nour Azzouz with a scoreline of 6-2 and 6-4.

In the singles, Ushna lost second round match to second-seeded Pooja Shree of India with a scoreline of 6-3 and 6-2.

Ushna and her partner will face the pair of Indian Poojashree Venkatesha and her Russian partner Alexandra Romanova in the semi-final on Wednesday.
