HARIPUR: 11 prisoners released

HARIPUR, Nov 23: Eleven under-trial prisoners were released after a brief trial held by the camp court in Haripur central prison here on Saturday.

These prisoners had been behind imprisoned for sometime for minor offences under the PPC.

The judicial magistrate and civil judge Ms Muneera Abbasi held camp court in the jail and after hearing them set a group of 11 prisoners free.

Those released included Tariq Mehmood, Shoaid Khan, Khurram Shehzad, Attiqu-ur-Rehman, Muhammad Amjad, Wali Muhammad, Muhammad Ashraf, Khalid Rehman, Chanzeb and Nazir.
