KARACHI, Dec 21: Shazaib Khan and Khizar Aziz stormed into the final of fifth junior Sindh Cup snooker league notching up convincing victories over their opponents in the pre-finals at Aly’s parlour on Wednesday.

Shazaib handed a 3-0 (70-13, 67-23, 54-21) victory over Haris Nadeem while Khizar defeated Hammad-ur-Rehman by the identical margin 81-31, 69-16, 81-50.

Meanwhile, six players have qualified to represent Sindh in the 2012 national junior snooker championship. They include Shazaib Khan, Khizar Aziz, Haris Nadeem, Hammad-ur-Rehman, Fahad Khan and Murtaza Iqbal.

Results: Semi-finals: Shahzaib Khan bt Haris Nadeem 3-0 (70-13, 67-23, 54-21); Khizar Aziz bt Hammad-ur-Rehman 3-0 (81-31, 69-16, 81-50).

Quarter-finals: Haris Nadeem bt Ghawish Khan 3-2 (94-15, 26-54, 15-59, 60-35, 81-19); Shahzaib Khan bt Abdul Rehman 3-0 (56-15, 75-17, 64-25); Hammad-ur- Rehman bt Murtaza Iqbal 3-1 (62-33, 25-54, 84-77, 62-47); Khizar Aziz bt Fahad Khan 3-0 (52-42, 53-30, 79-1).
