LAHORE, Dec 24: At least 47 Hindu pilgrims arrived here on Saturday from India to participate in the birth anniversary of Swami Shadaram Sahib, the founder of Shadani Darbar Hayat Pitafi (Sindh).

They reached the Wagah border crossing by foot led by group leader Sain Ugistarlal. Evacuee Trust Property Board Additional Secretary (Shrines) Zahid Hussain Bokhari, Deputy Secretary Syed Faraz Abbas and Hindu leader Nanak Ram Chawala received the pilgrims.

Soon after their arrival, the Hindu pilgrims left for Hayat Pitafi (Sindh) by a train. They will visit their religious places in Mirpur Mathelo and Sukkur. They will return to Lahore on January 2 and visit temples here before leaving for India. -- APP
