LAHORE, Dec 27: The Punjab University has retained the Inter-varsity badminton championship for women title for the fourth consecutive time in Islamabad, beating Lahore College University in the final.
Liaquat Ali was Punjab University’s coach.
Results: Nighat (PU) bt Saira 21-19, 21-17; Hina-Saira (LCU) bt Maria-Nosheen 21-18, 21-15; Aliya (PU) bt Hina 21-19, 19-21, 21-18; Nighat-Aliya (PU) bt Mahpara-Maria 21-11, 21-16.
