LAHORE, Dec 30: Ayesha Ahad Malik, the daughter of PML-Q leader Ahad Malik, has served Rs1 billion notice on Rana Sanaullah for his ‘indecent’ remarks about her.

She has asked the law minister to tender an unconditional apology within 15 days or face legal proceedings. “Rana Sanaullah’s statements, conduct and illegal acts do not fall within the purview of exercise of powers and performance of the office of a provincial minister, the same can be judicially reviewed and immunity under law and constitution is not attracted,” says Ayesha’s counsel Amir Saeed Rawn.

He said Khan, being a lawyer and provincial law minister, could not claim to be oblivious of legal position of such character assassination.
