DADU, Jan 4: President Asif Ali Zardari has directed the Auqaf department and district administration of Jamshoro to complete work of expansion and renovation of the shrine of Lal Shahbaz Qalandar as soon as possible. President Zardari arrived Sehwan in a helicopter on Wednesday, laid wreaths and offered Fateha at the grave of Lal Shahbaz Qalandar. He also inspected ongoing work at the shrine.
Security was tightened surrounding the shrine and Sehwan town and no devotee was allowed to visit the shrine for four hours. Roads leading to the shrine were sealed for several hours.
