LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) leader and Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah on Friday said that Pakistan People's Party (PPP) leader Babar Awan's licence to practice law should be revoked for his ridicule of the Supreme Court and of the contempt of court notice that had been issued to him, DawnNews reported.

Speaking to media representatives outside the Punjab Assembly, Sanaullah said that both Babar Awan and Governor Punjab Latif Khosa should not be allowed to enter the premises of courts on account of their corrupt practices.

Sanaullah moreover said that Mansoor Ijaz had no connection with the PML-N and that Akram Sheikh's decision to represent Ijaz was a "personal call".

The PML-N leader said that Senate elections could take place on February 11.

He further said that those talking of creating new provinces had ulterior motives.
