CHARSADDA, Nov 26: The district council on Monday opened discussion on the distribution of the remaining district fund of the development package allocated by the provincial government for the year 2002-3.

The session, presided over by Mohammad Ibrahim, speaker of the council, allowed the debate over the remaining development package of Rs 1,318,700.

Out of this amount the district government intended to keep Rs 3.00 millions on its own disposal while the district councillors were to get Rs 2.00 million while the remaining amount is to be equally distributed among the 48 union councils of the district.
