KARACHI: MQM chief Altaf Hussain has said he is against any kind of confrontation between state institutions because he believes in supremacy of the Constitution and law.

He said this while speaking from London to a meeting of members of MQM’s coordination committee, its parliamentarians and legal and constitutional experts who had gathered at the party’s headquarters ‘Nine Zero’ the other day.

Mr Hussain said the MQM believed in the supremacy of the Constitution and it had always accorded respect to all constitutional institutions. He said the MQM wanted promotion of democratic culture in the country.
