KARACHI: Veteran politician Begum Naseem Wali Khan on Saturday announced her return to practical politics after an absence of around seven years, DawnNews reported.

Speaking to DawnNews, Awami National Party (ANP) founder Wali Khan’s widow said that she had served her party well. “I have so many services for ANP,” said Naseem.

Wali Khan’s widow said she had not quit practical politics but had been kept away from it.

She further said she had submitted an application to her party for contesting the Senate elections. “It is my right to get a party ticket for the Senate polls,” the ANP leader added.
