thanx to dawn, however one correction here - the soldiers are only saluating the supreme commander President of India and not the dignitaries as mentioned.

Apart from all negativity we have against Pakistan,
One thing is for sure, pakistan media ( may be only "dawn" ) is much better then what we have in India,
congratulations Pakistan to have such a "news paper"/web paper.
"Dawn" is one of the thing I envy of Pakistan ( others are "Nusrat Ail Khan", and "Cricketer Emran Khan" not the political one )

Always brings back lot of memories when we used to dress up early Jan morning to perform in the school program and parade!
Richness of culture, pride for democracy and love for the motherland - what more could you ask for!

Why is this here? Do Indian papers post August 14 celebration pictures on their websites?

Thank you for showing Kashmiri woman as past of republic day festivities, i am proud Kashmir Muslim and proud Indian. Thank you Dawn for not portraying Kashmiris as anti-Indians, in fact the people who were once swayed by anti-India sentiment are realising their follies and turning back into patriotic Muslims of secular India they were for long.
