GILGIT, Nov 30: Sharafat Khan, President Gilgit Hockey Association (GHA) said a 16-member team would participate in the forthcoming national hockey championship.
“We have conducted trials in city ground and final team is to be announced shortly,” he added.
Sharafat said that as many as 22 players have been initially selected and the final team will be finalized after further trials.
He said that Gilgit Hockey Association was affiliated with Pakistan Hockey Federation some two months ago.
He said we have been asked to participate in next national hockey games.—APP
