LAHORE, Feb 18: A 50-member delegation of Hindu pilgrims reached here on Saturday through Wagah Border to join traditional Shivaratri festival at Katas Raj, Chakwal district.

Evacuee Trust Property Board Additional Secretary Zahid Bokhari, Hindu Welfare Council chairman Dr Manoher Chand and others received the visitors being led by Shiv Paratab Bajaj at the borders.

Talking to the media, Mr Bajaj said they were happy that Hindus in Pakistan were well off and enjoyed complete religious freedom. The Pakistan government’s efforts for the welfare of minorities, he said, were cementing friendly ties between India and Pakistan.
