LAHORE: Indian film legend Naseeruddin Shah is in Lahore these days but according to his host Yousaf Salahuddin, Mr Shah is not interested in any kind of interaction with the media.
“Shah Sahib came to Lahore on last Saturday, he has come on a personal visit and delivering lectures to a group of students on film and theatre in Gulberg privately,” Mr Salahuddin said.
To a question that would the Indian actor like to meet the media during his trip, Mr Salahuddin said he had asked Mr Shah regarding this but he had not shown any interest.
Mr Shah would leave for India on Feb 25 (Saturday), his host told this correspondent.
Naseeruddin Shah has not only performed in the Pakistani blockbuster Khuda Key Liye but also performed on stage in Lahore in 2006 in ‘Ismat Apa Kay Naam’, a play held at the Alhamra Cultural Complex on the invitation of a non-governmental organisation, The Citizen Foundation.
His recently released film ‘Dirty Picture’ has also done good business at the box-office in Pakistani cinemas.
