QUETTA, Feb 29: Two people were killed in Quetta and another was injured in Mastung area in three firing incidents on Wednesday.
According to police, some armed men opened indiscriminate fire, killing Maulvi Ali Mohammad Mengal on the spot.
In another incident, 22-year-old Mohammad Bilal Bangulzai was shot dead by armed men in Sabzal road area of the city.
“He received multiple bullet wounds and died before reaching hospital,’’ a police official said.
The motives behind the murders remained unknown, he said.
In another case, armed men shot and injured a young man in Mastung town. Mohammad Javed was taken to Quetta in serious condition.
