KARACHI, March 3: Four people were injured in a grenade attack in the city’s Lyari area on Saturday night.

Police said unknown men lobbed the grenade from a moving bike in a commercial area near a bus stop. Two of the injured were taken to Civil Hospital, where doctors released them after initial treatment.

“The motive and target behind the attack is not yet clear,” said a police official. He said there were a juice centre and some roadside hotels near the place of attack, adding that witnesses saw two men on a motorbike speeding away from the scene after executing the job.
