Smile is an expression that can soften even the hardest of hearts in the world. Smile symbolises love and peace, respect and adoration. It defines the purity of someone’s heart and we easily fall under its magical spell that not only melts the heart but also energises it.

An infant passes a smile when he is happy and we understand that the baby is happy. Ask a mother what she feels when her baby smiles back at her, the joy is unexplainable, it is only felt and couldn’t be defined in words. Similarly, after studying hard for over a year, a student sits for the exams and then waits for the result. The smile is priceless when he comes to know that he has passed or has topped in his class!

We go through different emotional phases in life, sometimes we are so involved in our daily mundane activities that we forget to notice the world around us and so we lose precious moments. However, the best way to find a solution to any problem is not to get stressed. Only if you are able to think clearly and act wisely, which you can’t if you are too stressed out and panicky, will you find a way out of your troubles.

Life is not a bed of roses, one has to go through different phases in life. For instance, poor marks in tests, scolding from parents or teachers, a fight with your best friend, etc., are things that can keep you depressed for days. But if you just smile though these troubles, your mind will soon become clear of all confusions and you will find the courage to cope with anything that comes your way. Don’t let anything take away the precious smile from your face. If you are feeling down, stand before a mirror and smile at yourself. It will give your spirits an instant boost.

Everything has a solution and there is one for all your problems too — you can work hard and pass your exams, behave well with parents and don’t do what will displease your parents, control your temper to avoid any fights in the future and learn to forgive and forget, etc.

Coming back to the magic of a smile, a smile is something that triggers good feelings not only in you but also in those who come in contact with you. It indicates to others that you are friendly, caring, loving and also that you are a team worker instead of a one-man show.

Many researches around the world have found out that the more you smile and remain positive, the more you are happy and healthy throughout your life. Remember, a smile is a message of love and care, so always smile and make others smile.
